Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what you type into the quote form so Trace can call you back about the job. We use analytics to see which pages are useful. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anybody, for any reason. There is no advertising network on this site and no data broker involved.

What we collect

When you use the quote form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the service you picked, anything you write in the details box, and up to three photos if you choose to attach them. Nothing on that form is collected without you typing or attaching it.

Automatically, our host records standard server logs — your IP address, your browser type and which pages you asked for. Every website receives this simply by being visited.

We do not ask for and have no use for payment card details, government ID numbers or your date of birth. Please do not send them through this form.

Photos you upload

Photos are resized in your own browser before they are sent, so the original full-size file never leaves your device. They are attached to the email Trace receives and used to quote your job. We will not publish a photo of your property or use it in advertising without asking you first.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people actually read and where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and records approximate location based on your IP address.

That data tells us things like “forty people read the pressure washing page this week.” It is not used to build an advertising profile of you, and it is not shared onward. You can opt out entirely with Google’s browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking analytics in your browser settings.

The typefaces on this site are served from our own server rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page requests no fonts from Google. Google Analytics, described above, is the only thing on this site that contacts Google.

Who your information goes to

Only the companies we need to run the business, and only the part they need to do their job. Each is bound by its own agreement with us.

• Resend — Delivers the quote-request email and your confirmation. Your name, phone, email, job details and any photos you attach.
• Vercel — Hosts the site. Standard server logs — IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
• Google Analytics 4 — Tells us which pages people find useful. Pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device and browser type.

Beyond that, we would only hand over information if the law required it — a court order, for example. That is the entire list.

How long we keep it

Quote requests stay in Trace’s email for as long as they are useful for the job and his records. Analytics data follows Google’s own retention settings. If you want your enquiry and photos deleted, email traukiesservices@gmail.com and we will delete them.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
• Ask us to delete it, and we will.
• Ask us to correct something that is wrong.
• Opt out of analytics using the link above.

No account is needed for any of this — just email or call. We do not charge for it and we will not ask why.

Children

This is a website for booking moving, hauling and cleaning work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we hold very little, for a short time, and share it with almost nobody.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. We will not quietly alter it and leave the old date in place.
